Scrapbooks have come so far. No longer are they just ancient looking paper books that we tape our memories to. We use them to add the faces of our loved ones and friends and we attach funny captions, funky titles, loving thoughts but do you remember to put the places along with the faces?
Where did you go this past week? Did you take a trip? Did you visit a museum in your own city? Did you get out of town for the night with your "other half"? Start a travel book today and show your friends and family where your days and nights took you.
So, where did you say you went this past week?
I was lucky enough to win tickets to a local comedy club called the Funny Bone. It is an improv setting, funny, reasonable junk food to eat and again funny...but the one thing I did find offensive was the use of profanity to the extreme from some of the comedians. I just don't find it funny to use the Lord'a name in the way they choose to. I would go back, but would hope that is not a regular thing there.
Jus sayin'.

I'm with you on the whole profanity thing. It's bad enough we hear these words as a regular thing anymore. Hearing the "B" word and "D" and "H" is bad enough. To know the TV folks will bleep out "F" but not "GD" infuriates me to no end.
ReplyDeleteI hate that people throw out "GD" like it's just another word like "Whatever" or "crud".
Glad you had a chance to get out and have some fun though! I love comedy clubs. A little junk food, a Coke, and a lot of laughs is a great night!
