It's today!!! Don't forget to go out and so something unexpected for someone else. It ripples in effect so be sure to say something kind when you do it that may change someone's thinking!!! We should always be good to one another, but since today is a special day to do it let's all jump in and put this in motion! Come back and tell me what you did for someone else today :)

We went grocery shopping this morning and I had extra coupons so I used them to get my elderly neighbor some ice cream that she LOVES and that she doesn't normally buy because she is on a fixed income so she doesn't buy it!
ReplyDeleteI gave my Aldis cart to someone and let them keep my quarter and asked them to pass it on to someone else when they were done. Donna Woods #6036
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who is a stay at home mom of three very little girls. She said that she feels like most days she's losing the battle! I uplifted her and encouraged her instead of complaining along with her about my own SAHM woes!
ReplyDeleteI went shopping today for hubby to the parts store.
ReplyDeleteI played Leggos with my kiddos! They loved it!
ReplyDeleteI taught two friends to make paper roses. I also babysat my 3 month old granddaughter for my son and daughter-in-law. What a sacrifice that was! HeHe :o)
ReplyDeleteevery day the kids & i walk to school with the 2 girls across the street. as their mum has 4 kids, i can't imagine having to get them all ready to a preschool & daycare.so she returns the favor & takes or picks up my two kids if it's raining

I drove a friend to the doctors clinic and stayed there with her...from 9 am to 5pm today..I am sure anyone in my place would have offered to drive her...
ReplyDeleteI sent a card to my son, who is a college student, with some money in it. Along with it, hugs and prayers to get him through finals week.
ReplyDeleteDonated some of my stash to a local elementary school. They make cards to send overseas to the troops. How cool is that-little kids paying it forward. Also just dawned on me how much use the teachers could get out of my way too amny alpha stickers so I've rounded them up to take.
ReplyDeleteI love the whole concept of Pay It Forward. Today I helped a friend do her shopping. She's agoraphobic and is dependant on others to take her everywhere. She's such a delight, I don't know how anyone could consider it a task to take her anywhere. We have a great time together so I love taking her wherever she needs to go!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter got sick at work and she had what we call "Late Room" at the Pre-School today and so I worked her "late Room" turn for her...
ReplyDeleteI paid for the car behind me at McDonalds. They looked like they needed a little pick me up.
ReplyDeleteWe've been extremely busy at work this week, and when I got in this morning, I discovered that my boss had been in for many hours already and was busily testing away in one of the trailers. I decided to bring her a nice fresh cup of coffee and a muffin from the teacher's lounge. Boy was she happy. She hadn't had her breakfast yet, and was beginning to lose her steam.
ReplyDeleteI made dinner for a friend and her family. She's on bedrest for the remainder of her pregnancy and has 4 kids and a hubby to feed.
ReplyDeleteI made my kiddies at daycare sea-shell necklaces from shells I picked for them on the beach in Nags Head. One little boy said he's been having nightmares so I told him that his shell was extra special and would help ward off those monster dreams!
ReplyDeleteLots of pay it forward,, great job girls..I went shopping at Micheals with 3- 50 percent off coupon, and donated 2 to the people behind me at the cash register, they were so happy, and said Thank You over and over, I print extras, just to help a costomer. I can only use one..
ReplyDeleteOh My! I didn't know it was PIF day and I don't think I did anything special. I ran errands all day and let a couple of cars into the line when waiting for the train. I stopped to say good morning to my favorite clerck at Michaels, even though she wasn't working the register, hmmmm..... I'm sure I held the door for at least 10 people. How about when I went to my Wendy's to tell them of an error they made last week (hamburger when I ordered chicken) and ended my conversation by complimenting the store even though they made an error. The management at this store is excellent and it shows. I wanted them to know that.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to do a couple of special things today. Who knows, maybe I'll let my husband do dishes on his time, not mine. LOL!
I am sure I can come up with something, I am going to Sam's club after work!
