PEN AND PAPER: Penny

The challenge this month was to create a layout using pen and paper! So I hand drew this turtle. I had seen this turtle on some stationary I had purchased a LONG, LONG time ago, when I was just a teenager, (I think I need to add a few more "long's" in that statement!) and it included this quote:
"I think I've finally flipped!" I loved it so much I learned to draw in from memory. I have drawn it so many times I think I could do it with my eyes closed! I have searched everywhere trying to find out who the original artist was so I could give them credit, but I have not had any luck finding that information.
I also used a hidden journaling block, at the top of the page, I decided on the hidden journaling so that it didn't detract from the page. The journaling reads:
Poor Madison she thought she had the bike riding thing figured out, then she flipped over! Lucky for her Great Granny was there to help her back up, and then she was off again! Bridgeport, Ala. 2008.
The supplies used on this layout are very few, which goes to show that you can make fun pages without expensive supplies.
Supplies:
White and green cardstock (the journaling block is tan, but that was just because it was the closest scrap of paper, within my reach, (gasp!):)
Brown brads - Recollections
Letter Stickers - Making Memories Dot Brown #17000
I hand cut the arrows, and the photo corners are the leftover pieces from making those arrow points. Give this challenge a try yourself and see what you can come up with!
Happy Scrapping! Love Penny
