MMhuh, yep you read that right which would explain why you previously saw Kristin in that role :) Charlotte is now leading our card team and one of her first duties as the team head honcho was to decide on a theme for this month. Aww what a sweetie, she chose Birthday to represent my birthday, so kind and I am touched! I am happy to introduce you to the new team's works of art and let you know that more will come on them in the future but you just have to see what their visions were for the month.

Do Not Throw That Away!!!

Do you ever have a line of scrapping goodies that you must save every last sliver of? That's me when it comes to a few, but today I dug one of them out to use: Cosmo Cricket's Get Happy. I truly adore it for the funky little look it has and the colors are some of my faves together. So you know I love to recycle and repurpose right? Well look closely and you will see that I even used the outside rim of the stickers...the part headed for the trash and even the part that had the brand line name on it, lol! Am I insane or in love? IDK! But, TFL!!!

September 2 Pagers Are Strutting Their Stuff See?

AMY, Our Lead 2 Page Artist has been joined with two new chicks and one returning. What an exciting team and awesome artists. I am stoked to introduce you to each of them, but for now I will show you their layouts and a picture of them so you can get some scrapping inspiration today. Remember to mix in a 2 pager to those scrapbooks of yours and after you see these layouts below, trust me...you will want to go back in time and do it again if you have not done so for awhile!!! They used a layout to inspire them created by a friend Kimmi on scrapbook.com and I will be sure to get in touch with her to see if she would not mind us also showcasing her layout along with our 2 page ladies :)

Dollbabies Are Back to School in September

Hello and happy Friday! Since If It's Groovy opened it's proverbial doors with a design team we have been lucky enough to have the beautiful Jen Macknick covering the Dollbabies Team and sharing with us layouts that have sweet little girls. As good luck would have it We are growing!!! We have have been scouting for a groovy chick who could work alongside of Jen, completing girly layouts to inspire us.

If you are like me I have two attending school next week. One goes to high school and the other to Kindergarten!!! I cannot wait to get great pictures of both next week. For those in the same shoes I wish you much success for a happy and healthy school year!

School's in with Kristin!!!

One of our newest designers is Kristin Lamb. She has taken on the role as Lead Alter Artist and I think we are all going to see some brand new ideas that we must try. For example why not create a hand syled portfolio like she has here for a special teacher in your life? With school around the corner we all know what that means: gift giving! Think of a teacher for Christmas. Did I say CHRISTMAS? I'm stopping there before I get scared, lol!

It Feels So Incredible!!!

It is an incredible feeling to know that I am not alone in the scrapbooking world! Long gone are the days of not knowing someone who is into scrapbooking, and if you are still in that position then I can sincerely say I understand. When I lived in Bethlehem, PA I knew not one person there so finding a scrapbooker was impossible. We as scrapping chicks have so much to be thankful for now. Couple the Internet with message boards and uh um, COOL BLOGS, lol then we have the beginnings of awesome, scrappy, and way groovy (if I do say so myself) friendships that can go on for years when nurtured! OK, just wanted to say that and a HUGE GROOVY WELCOME to the latest design team here on IIG. I am so anxious to start posting the talents of these ladies. They have been creating great projects since joining me in this adventure. Keep your eyes on the blog; You will not be disappointed. These chicks are really the cream of the crop ;)
