Peek-A-Boo

Celebrating with Natalie and her family :)Enjoy the card she made that looks like a gift in and of itself!!!

From Natalie:
Summer in Montana is one of my favorite seasons. My family also happens to have
a lot of birthdays and anniversaries during the summer months. I decided to make a cheerful little birthday card for my niece, whose birthday, which is on July 25th, is the same day as my parent's and brother's anniversaries! What a busy day this is going to be!

You can use any cutting system to make this card. I happened to use my Cricut. I cut out a card at about 4 in high and 8 in long. You can use any cartridge which allows you to make a fairly simple square card.

Decide where you want the picture hole and using your favorite cutting system make a "peek-a-boo" hole for a pop up sticker, embellishment, or die cut object to pop out of.

Use ribbon or paper for a border and use coordinating paper in a lighter tone for the inside. Put your "peek-a-boo" object on this lighter paper, making sure it clears the window sides, and write your message or stamp it, making sure not to let it show in the window.

There you have it, a sweet little card for a sweet kiddo!

  6. Thank you very much! I had so much fun making it and I hope you all do try your hand at one. it tackles that issue of having decoration on the outside and inside of the card to keep the excitement flowing!
