Focus on Life

As my daughter continues down her path of growing up, I am completely amazed at how fast time goes before my eyes. To complete a page for her scrapbooks, I chose a paper that has many words in it then used a piece of ribbon to underscore the word "life" and in essence it creates a title for my page without over doing anything or needing alphabet letters. Sometimes when I use patterned paper I find that adding more alphabets can be distracting.

Hope you are inspired to break into your ribbon drawer as I did. Using several of mine here made me remember why I bought each of them to begin with. Let's make this a year of using what we have on hand! Happy New Year!

Thanks to Sketches in Thyme for challenging me ;)

  2. Great use of that patterned paper! You're right, additional alphas would definitely have been too distracting!
