Remember our Alphabet Overload Challenge?

Some time ago we did a challenge here at IIG called Alphabet Overload. I know you and I both have enormous amounts of alphabets sitting around waiting to be used. When we had that challenge we used quite a bit but Doreen was not here yet. Let's see her layout today that would have fit perfectly into that challenge. It is definately worth doing from time to time to cahce those letters that need a place to go ")
Deb♥

"Holy Alpha's Batman!"
-"They Grow So Fast"-

That's what I imagine Robin the Boy Wonder would say if he saw this layout.
The reason being, that except for 1 tiny strip of paper on which I wrote the year, I used alpha stickers for my title and all of my journaling! (The only reason I hand-wrote the year is I didn't have number stickers).

To give you some background: I am a subscriber to a monthly scrapbook kit club and in December's kit, I received a pad of 3 sets of alpha stickers. Since I hate to waste supplies, I decided the only way I was going to get rid of most of those stickers was to use them for journaling on a layout.

Would I do it again?
Ummmm, nooooo.... But that doesn't mean I don't like the look... I just do not have the patience it takes to lay down each individual letter. It was very time consuming!

Do I regret doing it?
Again, no... Although it was a lot of work, it is a new technique for me and I enjoy trying out new things. Plus it did get me to use up a lot of alpha's that may have not otherwise been used.

So regardless of how I felt about the experience, I still encourage you to try it. Perhaps you have more patience than me... and who knows, it may be that new technique you need to give your pages a little bit of "pizazz"!

  3. I love this idea and plan to try it when I'm organized enough to have lots of alpha's at hand (and not buried in a box somewhere). Great layout and great plants.
