Well, as I previously said, I loved this challenge! Had so many ideas! I wasn't planning on using this pic . . . I preferred the picture that I used on the "Just Do It" layout because of the attitude.
But then . . . I was at a crop with 30 women on NSBD just creating away. Was telling a fellow scrapper about the challenge and she showed me some paper she had just bought. It had owls on it and was sooooo cute!!! I instantly said "Give a Hoot - Don't Pollute!" I knew instantly that I would be creating a 2nd layout for this challenge! My friend, April, was nice enough to give me these 2 sheets of paper! The owls sitting on the tree limbs and the other was covered in owls. Some of those owls bellies even read "Give A Hoot"! How perfect!!!
It's not often that I get to do a pink lo! In a home with all men, it just does NOT happen! But this was about me and these cute little owls wearing pink shirts and Giving A Hoot about our planet!!!
I used my new We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy tool for the first time on this lo! I love the look of stitching on lo's but I don't have a clue as to how to sew!! This makes it easy and adds just a simple touch! The flowers (inked with Tattered Rose distress ink), bling and leaves are by Prima. The tag was handmade and inked. Give a Hoot was done using Calligraphy Collection cricut cartridge and Don't Pollute were some brown rub-ons with a little extra jute that was laying round. Ta-Da!!! All done!!!
Let's keep our Earth clean! HOOOOOOOO knows how long we have here so we better take care of it while we can!!!!
Be on the lookout, I just might have 1 more On the Hand challenge layout for you!! Isn't sharing our message a fun thing to do??? Share yours with us!!!
